Materials and Costs

The tuition cost for the UMA Teacher Certification Program is:

* $2,775 (plus $150 registration fee)
* Tuition may be paid in five monthly installments of $555.
* A $100 discount is offered if submitting the full amount, adjusting the total tuition to $2,675.
* A $150 registration fee is required along with the admission application. Once the applicant is approved, this fee is non-refundable.

Tuition includes:

1. UMA Material Presentations, Teacher's DVDs, by The United Montessori Association. The video presentations help provide clear visuals of traditional Montessori demonstrations, with the primary emphasis on the Math area.

2. UMA Montessori Material Presentations, Teacher's Manual, by The United Montessori Association.

Montessori Matters, Teacher's Manual, by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. Combined, the teacher training manuals comprehensively provide hundreds of Montessori material demonstrations, covering the areas of:

Practical Life Math History
Sensorial Science Art
Language Geography Music

The manuals also provide a liberal amount of master sheets for classroom
use, booklets for classified nomenclature, and theme outlines for curriculum
