A Playground for the Whole Family!

Sarah Klahs, UMA student from Iowa City, IO, shares her "Montessori experience" at the City Museum in St. Louis, MO. It sounds and looks like a GREAT Montessori adventure destination for ADULTS! 

Sarah writes:

This wonderful place is a great venue for remembering what is was like to be a curious, energetic, fearless child.

It is a glorious construction, in the former International Shoe Building, taking up an entire city block, indoors and out. Founded by Artist Bob Cassilly and his former wife Gail, it is an industrial looking wonderland inviting the participant to climb, touch, feel and experience every surreal part contained within it.

We had a wonderful time here over Spring Break, but didn't leave unscathed;if you're headed there, bring a flash light, knee pads and some sturdy, comfortable shoes!
